Ways to Give

Your support of the Indiana 4-H Foundation promotes 4-H in all 92 Indiana counties. Nearly 130,000 youth participate annually in Indiana 4-H, making 4-H the largest youth development program in our state. By engaging youth in hands-on experiential learning through traditional projects and innovative technology programs, 4-H instills leadership, responsibility and lifelong learning.

Since the Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, donations are tax-deductible (as allowed by law) – making it a mutually beneficial philanthropic act. Additionally, a special program recognizes donors who make significant, unrestricted donations to the general operating fund in a calendar year (learn more about the “Clover” program here).

Your support is vital in making Indiana 4-H programs available to young people all across the state! Explore the various methods available to support the work of the Indiana 4-H Foundation. You can also email or call (765) 494-8483 for more information!

As a participant in the “One Car, One Difference” program, the proceeds of donated vehicles can be designated to the Foundation. The Indiana 4-H Foundation “Signature Programs” – including Round Up and others that you may remember – touch tens-of-thousands of Indiana 4-H youth and their families each year. You and / or your organization can be an integral part of these programs by becoming a program sponsor. Click here for more information about sponsorships.

  • Planned Gifts
Supporters who notify the Foundation of their intent to leave a planned gift are automatically recognized as a member of the “Indiana 4-H Legacy Society”. Advance knowledge of individuals’ planned gifts helps the Foundation plan for its longevity. Click here for more information on the Legacy Society and planned giving.
  • Endowments
Endowments are established with a principal investment donation that remains intact in perpetuity. Interest earned off the principal amount is restricted and used for the donor-specified purpose – such as a named scholarship or program support. Click here for more information about establishing an endowment.
